Coming home from the hospital with our first child was a completely overwhelming experience – we had no idea what to expect and all the information that we had gotten during our classes and hospital stay was a complete blur.  Thankfully, we had hired JoAnna to help us with overnight care during our first week home in hopes of getting a few more hours of sleep each night.  But we ended up getting so much more!  JoAnna’s years of experience came through from the start – she was at ease with our daughter as well as with us, her nervous parents.  She came in with such a calm and positive attitude and immediately felt like family.  She made us feel like we were not only capable of caring for our new baby but gave us the information and confidence we needed so we felt good doing it.

JoAnna exceeded our expectations in every way possible. She is incredibly knowledgeable - both through her years of experience and her education - and she knows how to share that knowledge in a way that doesn't put new sleep-deprived and anxious parents on the defensive. In fact, she made us feel empowered and gave us hop that things would get better. And they did!
